Hiking trail
Örvallssjön
Link direction/ map (starting point)

Start and car parking at Ängebo IK's clubhouse, hiking center,
where a map with trail information is available.
You can get to the trail by walking past Svågagården
on the road east for about 400 m.
Trail markings start at the notice board by the old kiosk.
Follow the Hövägen connection trail.
At the Gravmyrberget trail intersection, turn west
and follow the trap system for just under 1 km.
Then it turns left and follows the trap system west.
The trail then turns north up Åsbackarna.
You then come out onto a gravel road
that you follow for about 1 km.
You can also go here by car
to walk a shorter distance to the lake,
about 2.7 km round trip.
The last stretch goes through young forest and over a bog.
A little wet in the spring, but it's okay to take detours.
The trail goes right between two mirror-like,
magical ponds, so beautiful in the forest.
The last stretch to the lake, the old trail follows the edge between a bog and a felling.
Then you arrive at Örvallssjön.
A small cabin that was built in 1994 through a tourist project
is beautifully situated on a cliff overlooking the lake.
It is still in very good condition.
The lake has many small islands and also springs.
It is good fishing water there and you need a fishing license.
In the forests around the lake there are some remains of coal mines.
However, they are difficult to find now after felling and new forest.
The length of the trail is about 9 km round trip from Ängebo.
