Ängebo IK's Exercise Center at Bratthé:
(click on the pictures for details)The gym has been prepared during the spring and early summer of 2021. Here is trails and paths for everyone who wants to go out and enjoy nature. Running, jogging or hiking, everything goes just as well. The center is located in an area that is characterized by the ice age with only nice paths on sandmo, it is also adjacent to Gröntjärns nature reserve. The new loops that are marked with different colors are:
Children's path 1.1 km. Blue marking.
Here are painted stones, small trolls and cottages which one can try to find when walking around. In the Activity box that is on the wall at the information board, there are also tasks that you can do with the children.
Activity round 2.5 km. Red marking.
There are 12 stations on this loop with paintings showing different heart rate and strength exercises.
Långbackenslingan 4.7 km and Genvägen 3.7 km. Yellow marking.
Goes over the moors towards Hornberget. If you want to take the tough loop, you take 4.7 which has a long slack moth but to avoid it you can take the Shortcut.
Gröntjärnsslingan 7.5 km. Orange marking.
Here you follow Lungtjärnsvägen with easy terrain down to Gröntjärn. From there you follow the Gröntjärnsleden through the nature reserve back, with a bit more hilly terrain. Suggestions for additional routes from the Gym. Do you want to run or go on a longer tour of 10 km? Then you take 7.5 km The green iron loop, but turn left on the way back and follow the yellow markings, Långbackenslingan.
Gröntjärnsleden. Orange marking.
12 km easy if you have two cars or round trip 24 km. Trail that we have managed and arranged hikes on since 1990. It also starts from Bratthé down to Storsjön in Sandvik. Follow the trail through the nature reserve, then further west on the same glorious surface.
Hornberget.
From Bratthé, the nearest path is the Genvägen back to the board for start Hornberget, 1.2 km. From there two choices, steep climb about 1.5 km or slack 2.5 km. Back the same distance. It is also possible to take a car directly to the foot of the mountain. Ängebo IK wishes everyone a good trip
