Hiking trail Svågaleden

The Svågaleden is a scenic experience with a single route of approx. 13.5 km.
The start is at the Hiking Information below Svågagården
and the destination is Jubbabron just north of Brännås.
Then the Valleden continues.
The Svågaleden can be combined with the Flottarleden
and make circular hikes by
walking back and forth on both sides of the river.
See more trails along Svågan.
The terrain is nice and slightly hilly.
A narrow winding path along the water in some sections.
The hike follows the south side of the river
until Långmor.
Here you cross over to the North side
and pass Björsarvcampen
and continue north.
At the dam in Brännås you can again
cross over to the south side of the river
and follow the ridge all the way to the destination Jubbabron.
The last log was floated in Svågan in 1965.
Many remains remain that can be seen
here and there along the shores.
Feel free to stop and enjoy the beautiful nature.
In some places there are benches displayed
and also tables.
Natural seating can be found anywhere along the trail.
At Långmor before you cross the bridge to the north side
there is a table with benches, a nice location for a coffee.
Here you can also find some history about Långmorkvarn, the rafting etc.
NOTE! The Långmor Bridge has become in very poor condition.
You cross here at your own risk.
There are currently no resources for renovation.
We have therefore taken up an extension
of 2 km along Svågan on the southern side.
There will be a bridge that you can cross
and continue towards Brännås or take a circular walk.
It is also a nice stretch that follows close to the river.
The length of the trail is about 13.5 km
